Default Advice on removing and upgrading radio

Hi

Have just got my 1st picanto and it came with a radio cassete player, this I would like to replace with a CD/MP3 unit and would like to know how complicated this would be?
I think the dash needs to be removed to get the head unit out, is this right?
Any advice or tips would be welcomed
Thanks guys
Oliver

usuall there are screws hidden away, try to locate those. if there is none, then the center frame panel may be held together by clips or snap ons. prying it loose with a flathead screw might damage the plastic.

my advice - better let the dealership take care of it., at least if they do f_ck up, you can always get back at them and claim the warranty.

The centre panel around the stereo just pulls off and the you just pull the plugs (which are clolour coded) from the switches. It really is very simple as it snaps off and pushes back on. My stereo was bolted in and when unbolted the new one just slotted in and used the same holes.
