New set of stats. My 2007 LS manual 1.1 achieved 17.4 L/km or 49.2 mpg over the last few weeks. Its now summer in UK (The rain is warmer!). Gonna try for a record soon by driving out of town as much as possible and only doing one/two cold starts per day. We'll, see. any other fuel consumption figures out there? Would appreciate it if you could submit them as I have done so that we can make quick comparisons.

Yet a new set of stats:- I have a 2007 1.1 LS manual. It now has 8000 miles (13000Km) on the clock. Covered 366.7 miles with 31.5 litres of fuel. That works out at 52.9 mpg! (18.7Km/L). Well pleased with that considering I have not been over cautious. It has included a lot of stop start town driving mixed with gentle country lane cruising. Still reckon I can get even better.

Driving reasonably carefully (bearing in mind I live in a hilly area, where changes down the 2nd are needed just to keep going sometimes), I am getting around 57-58 mpg. I usually have two or three peeps in the car.

However, I did over 300 miles on one motorway trip this weekend at 60-70 mph (M6 traffic permitting and the usual delays) and I got 67mpg. 3 people plus luggage.

1.1 LS BTW (2006 '06).

As I drive it, the fuel consumption gets better and better.

Latest set of figures. 362.3 miles (583.0065 Km) consumed 32 litres (7.04 gals). That works out at 18.23 Km/L or 51.46 mpg. Car has now done 8500 miles. Can't figure out how Clevatreva is getting 67 mpg!!! How do you manage it? What's BTW mean? Anyone with similar figures to Clevatreva's? Would be interested.
