Default Borrego Towing

Anyone towing over 4500lbs. with your Borrego? What is the trailer harness hookup like? Does it accomodate a 5 pin flat hookup? How does the short wheelbase handle heavy loads?

Hey lugnut.
I haven't seen a 5 pin flat do you mean the 4 pin? I have to look I only used the 7 pin. It sqauts a little bit I was pulling 5000lbs I have a v8 and it pulled great. If I were to pull that heavy consistanly with it I would use stablizer bars. with the 6 speed trans you just out it in drive and hit the gas. it was a little wavey on the curves. But as a whole if you have pulled a trailer before you will be fine

lilmule, The 5 pin flat is for disengaging surge brakes when backing up.
