Sounds like one or both sets of wheels may be locked up from corrosion and/or cold. I had a Mercedes with a dead engine that sat under a carport for 10 months, until January, before I could sell it. When the buyer came to tow it, we put it into neutral to push it out of the carport but couldn't get it to budge. The back wheels or axle were completely locked up. He chained it to his pickup and gave it a few tugs, hoping to break it loose. Still nothing. He ended up dragging it out of the carport with wheels locked, then another 100 or so feet down the driveway to where he had unhooked his trailer, then winched it up onto the trailer in the same state. Finally, as the car was about halfway on the trailer, I heard the axle finally give way and it rolled the rest of the way.
