Default Radio Removal

I Have a 2007 Kia optima and want to upgrade my radio. How do I remove the factory radio.

If that doesn't do the trick, & you get stuck, try DIY Removing and Installing Factory Car Stereo. They have detailed photo's. I think it's like $5 or something trivial like that.

Good luck. I have an 04 Optima & put a Kenwood (in dash mp3's) in with the factory speakers. I'm happy.

Sounds crazy, but you'll basically just pull off the trim ring around the radio that has the A/C controls connected to it. You can start under the A/C controls. It's a b*tch, but once you get it off, it becomes easier each time you do it.
It's easier with a removal tool. Not sure where you get those, but I just used a series of screwdrivers and my fingers. I didn't mess up the dash either!
I would look at the KGIS like another reader said above.
