Wink rough idle when at light

I have a kia Optima 2001 70,000 miles. It has recently had a rough idle when in drive at a light with check engine light on. No codes come up on computer and i clear it and then the check engine light comes back on. once up to speed the car runs fine. seems to be missing. I have changed the plugs and the wires and the air filter. Scheduled to bring it in to have the timing belt changed.

I had a similar problem after checking all that you mentioned, I found out it there was a hole in the rubber hose connected to the pvc valve, which is located behind the big plastic shell.

havge you ever changed your fuel filter. that is a pretty big deal on the older optimas. also i would not trust the scan tool you used to see a checki angine light and have no codes. when the light is on there is always a code being produced
