"Every car manufacturer has a service department"...meaning???
The gas cap was tightened properly, as per delivery instruction. I was told to tighten it at least until I hear 3 clicks and it was tightened until I heard 6 clicks. Anyway I had put in gas again, and this time I tightened the cap until I hear 8 clicks as advised by the service mechanic, so far so good. He told me if the check engine light comes up again, then he will do a test on the cap to check if it is faulty. When I asked why not performed the test now, his reply was "it was only the first time, has to happen a few more times before he can do the test, something about company policy".
