2002 Kia Optima brake lights

I have a 2002 Kia Optima and the problem is that when i hit the brakes, the brake lights wont turn on. when i turn the lights on the park lamps turn on and everything. THe brake light bulb turns on but it doesnt glow when i press the brake. the brake light switch on the brakes has been replace and all the fuses have been checked as well. What can i do to fix this problem?

Dumb question...have you replaced the bulbs? The marker lights and the brake lights use the same bulb, but different filaments.

My sister had this EXACT SAME PROBLEM with her '05 Sorento a few months back. He left brake light wouldn't light up like it was supposed to when she hit the brakes. She took it to our local Kia dealership and they were able to fix it. They said that it was bad wiring.
