I assume there were no specs regarding gearing for the final drive ratio as the 2.0L 6th gear at .633 is geared higher than the 2.4L 6th gear at.829.
No doubt the final drive makes the 2.4L higher.

Kia just started production of this vehicle this month, so it will be a while before they arrive. My local dealer has some on order.
Final - differential
2.0L MT 4.333; AT 2.885
2.4L MT 4.063/2.955 (for 1/2/R,3/4/5/6); AT 2.885
Thanks for the info - so much more than on the Kia site
I know that down here we'll get slightly different specs, but I was afraid that the SX would get mandatory leather
Not a big deal up North, but down in the sunbelt, it's horribly uncomfortable for 6 months out of the year. But Korea's a small place, so I guess they don't understand about wide variations in climate - or just don't care. They would probably say it's to save money by reducing options, but then why have a Canadian version, a US version, an Australian version, a European version...
All just a little different.
