I've measured the room in the back of the Touring and there is 6 ft. of length behind the front seats with the rear seats down, and with the front passenger seat reclined I'm guessing close to 8 ft would be available for something like a 2 by 4. Check it out as there is much more cargo capacity than would appear from the outside.
Wish the Touring at least had the Kia 2l engine with more hp, more gears and chain driven cam system. Or better yet the Forte 5 with the Touring cargo space. But always tough to get the "perfect" vehicle.
In Europe the Kia Ceed is like the Touring, and looks better too I think, but parent company Hyundai wouldn't allow that car to be brought here as it would compete directly with the Touring so we get the Forte hatch instead. I think it will still sell well though as it certainly looks sportier than the Touring.
My local Kia dealership has just received 2 five doors. Located in Orlando Fl. He said that every dealership should be getting at least one in the near future or have one. I took the EX on a test drive and the 6 speed is very nice. I feel its a very nice car. Ill post some pictures of the US sticker.
Images look excellent. The back smashes look wimpy. Are the top part the same size? The storage space area space places seems to be the identical as the visiting. I like it.
