O2 sensors are located in the exhaust. There is usually one before and one after the converter. There are special sockets that help remove the sensors but are not always needed. I would like to point out that just because you have an o2 code does not necessarily mean that the sensor is at fault. Various engine conditions can set o2 codes, such as lean and rich fuel mixtures.
