K, so today i pulled out all the upper ends of the stock intake and put in a short ram. I notice at stop lights that i get a vibration in the brake pedal, but only when the A/C is on. I'm curious if there is perhaps a vacuum tube that i was unable to reach in the lower structure of the intake, or possibly the new intake has the idle kinda screwy, and the addition of the A/C compressor is just more than the idle is "comfortable" at.
Take your shots.
::EDIT::
I didnt remove the mass air sensor, so rule that out of anything you were thinking.
There is only one vacumn line that I know of that connects to your short ram. You can also try disconnecting your battery for a couple of minutes. It clears the ECU, then hook it back up and it will adjust for any airflo differences.
You're probably rubbing on a fluid line. If you have the K&N intake you might be rubbing on a small 90 degree angle metal line. I had the same problem but then realized after taking my intake on and off multiple times a small rub mark on what I think is the brake fluid line. If you position it up a little more you won't have the problem. I was pleased to find that it did the trick. When I installed my intake I thought that I might have accidentally knocked my throttlebody and messed up the tension.
hey, buddy, i made my own intake, and it did that same exact thing for a couple of weeks. someone told me that it has something to do with "resetting the computer" to the amount of air coming in.!

Check all the coupleings to make sure there are no airleaks, especially where it mounts to the throttle body. I have had a K&N sri for a year and a half with absolutely no problems.
