Default Cabin fan running only on fastest speed

Hello,
I got problem on Shuma 98 with A/C. Internal fan is working only on mark IIII- the fastest speed. It doesn`t work on I, II, III mark. Any idea what is wrong - switch, fuse, blower, conestions...

The resistor is usually the cause.

Please, can someone tell me value or type of resistor or where can I findt those values to replace faullty ones.

As far as I know, the resistor assembly can only be purchased from the dealer, but I would check the wreckers yard.
If you are the electrical/electronics type then you could check the individual wire-wound high wattage resisters and find substitutes.

I had the same problem, and on a couple different sites you can just buy a Blower motor resistor. Would it be the same thing the dealer has to offer? Or do you know of any differences?
