Default Engine Trouble
Hi

Ive got a Kia Shuma II 2002 1.6DOHC ive got the MIL lamp on and last time i got it tested it came up with P0171 lean code. haven't managed to find the problem. Well its no getting worse the car runs really ruff at full throttle it gets to about 1500 - 2000 rpm and starts to judder, thats if it wants to play if it doesn't it gets to 1000 rpm and dies. it sounds like its sucking in air around the carb but i can't seem to find the problem.

Anybody got any ideas or solutions or new places to look would be much appreciated.

Sounds like a vacuum leak - just to search for it now.
