Default Dashboard problem

New member looking for information/help.

Actually I guess it would be a dash pad problem. My gray vinyl dash covering and padding has separated from the plastic(?) substructure and you can see inside the dashboard. This apparently occurred during the time the previous owner had the car because he left the car closed up for extended periods of time in the hot sun.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone out there had a similar problem and how you might have fixed it. Specifically what kind of adhesive you used that would not damage the foam and make the problem worse.

I have heard that #M Super Weatherstrip adhesive will work to stick it back down.

I guess my question now is: Is it hard to remove the instrument cluster to get the glue in there?

Thanks all!
