Unhappy oil and engine light coming on, car freezing but plenty of oil

I was at a stop sign and when I went to pull away my engine light came on, my oil light came on (which has never come on) and i couldn't accelerate. Needless to say it freaked me out, I shut off the engine, turned it back on and all was well. I checked my oil right away and I had plenty (not to mention having an oil change about 120 miles ago) any ideas?

Welcome to the forum.

Was it the Check Engine Light that came on, if so then take it to a place like AutoZone and get them to read the stored error codes and post these here.

You sure it didn't just stall?
