Default 2008 spectra5 Radio access

Got a pair of subs and an amp from crutchfield, the order includes a how to on removing the center of the dash. Problem is, they sent the removal info for a 2006 and it just says to pry the center off. Just wondering if this holds true for the 2008's, i don't wanna but my trim in half.

I have not seen the 08 but if there is a bezel around the radio, clock, a/c controls then it will most likely come off the same way.

Pry it off? Crap, why can't it just have a screw. I don't want to risk cracking something when I install my new deck.

ive got an '08 and thats how you do it. start from the bottom right with a small flat blade screwdriver and try to get behind it then move to the bottom left, the middle right, middle left, etc.

Kia puts their shop manuals and a good deal of other technical information online for free

here.

Just complete the free registration and you're good to go.

i'll try to upload the stuff i got from Crutchfield on door panel removal, worked fine for me. I'd recommend ordering from them, you're going to need a special mounting bracket.
