Default my enterance and questions with Spectra

Hello guys I'm new to this forum, and kia, but I have had quite some time researching korean motors ,thanks to my hyundai.
I have realised there is no difference from hyundai to kia except for the body, so i was thinking about purchasing a kia Spectra because it has a lighter frame then the Tiburon and a sportier look then the elantra yet I love the Beta engine..

anyway I am not sure how well the "Sports tuned suspension" handles.
Is the SX models really worth the extra 3k or is it better to go with after market parts?

Default sx

We have an 05' spectra sx and it has a lot of body roll going into corners
at speed for a small car.
Also I might add that it you get good warranty service from you hyundai, you
might want to stick with it cause you won't get it from kia.

A Tibby 19mm sway bar will take care of any body roll. I would go aftermarket, because I believe you get better parts, if you want them and when you want them. Get the car, drive it and then you will get an idea of what you want to upgrade and then you can get what you want as you can afford them. Happy Motoring!

I was preaty much wondering if it was tolerable... I dont plan on keeping true to the warranty either.
If i get 1 I'm gunna boost it till I hit 300hp

thats why Im asking
but thanks.

I guess my best bet is the cheaper and lighter LX

thats amazing that the tib sway bars fit tho. never heard of that one.

The sway bar off of the 03 tibby GT is the one you want. It is 19mm and a perfect fit. Part #555-2C000 for the sway bar from Hyundai. If you want steel end links(ours are plastic)part #555-29500. It is not necessary to get the end links if you do'nt drive agressively. I would recommend urethane bushings for the bar tho. 3/4" bushings from Energy Supensions will do nicely.
