Smile '01 spectra head gasket replacement HELP!

My daughter has an "01 Kia spectra that she struck a deer with about 3 months ago. It did some minor damage to the front end and I discovered that the radiator had a hole in it, after she fessed up about the accident while away at college. She only told me because the car has been running hot and I found a small hole in the radiator while inspecting it this past weekend.
I have purchased the new radiator and will put it in this afternoon but I am concerned about the engine being ran for too long hot.

Have any of you had any experience with head gasket problems on these 4-cylinder engines?

thanks for the help,
NCPLOWBOY

My philosophy is if it aint broke, don't fix it! If you change the radiator and it doesn't have any oil in the water or water in the oil then I would run with it! Just keep an eye on your oil to make sure there is no water in it. If it starts to go, you will have oil in the water first!
