Kia 'Ceed to be new Spectra in U.S.A and Canada?

Officially you will not see the Cee'd in the U.S. and Canadian market. The Spectra will be redesigned at some point but not from the Cee'd platform. The Cee'd is purely for the European market as well as certain other countries.

We have design shops in California dedicated to your markets just like we do in Europe and Asian markets with their own design shops. There is one design chief, Mr. Peter Schreyer, overlooking all design projects world-wideand he is based in Germany. Major role is to give the Kia brand a unifed look and feel with cutting edge technologies.

All final decisions are still made at the mangement level in Seoul, So. Korea.

yah the canadain 2007 spectra has a lil face lift i just picked one up and there are little differences between 2006 and 2007

IMO the Cee'd is just the same thing as a Rondo with Sharper looking edges.

I hope for the americans that they get a model like Cee'd with the same quality. I many car magazin here in Denmark, they say that Cee'd is the best Korean car ever built.

7 years warranty and a quality like japanese and other european cars.
Normally you only get 2 and 3 years warranty on cars i europe.

What can i say. I have never own a korean car before. But..
I love my Cee'd!

I'd be ticked if that was the warranty i got. American kia's all get 10 year 100,000 mile power train warranty. 5 year 60,000 bumper to bumper.
