Default rear bumber damage on kia spectra 05

I just got rear ended today. The driver behind me was going maybe 10mph when he hit me. He doesn't want to use his insurance and would like to get an estimate for the repair costs. I guessed the costs to be about $400 or less. Its only a small crack about 1 inch to 1 and a half inches in length.

I've attached a photo. How much do you think it should cost to repair.

Thanks

I hope you reported it even though he says he doesnt want to use insurance. Cause if he backs out and you didnt report it then you will get screwed... Just report it and use insurance its your best bet.

Do yourself a favour, report it and use yours/his insurance. Why settle for a repair when you should have a new bumper. From what you say, the other driver is at fault - driving too close (if you keep your distance, you won't hit anything).
I too was recently rear ended, Cee'd only 3 day's old. New bumper, tailgate and lamp.
Good luck..

Default Me No Specka English

B:

I recently purchased my 2005 Kia Spectra and was recently involved in a hit and run. It was a 3 car incident, I avoid hitting car 1 when car 1 decided to change lanes without signaling which cause car 3 to rear end me (car 2). Car 1 and I pull into a nearby parking lot to view and discuss the damages, believing (of course) that Car 3 would do the same.

Car 3 took off. The first thing the driver of Car 1 says to me is \
" Me No Specka English ".....

This was my first....accident in 20 years of driving. I was so enraged at the fact that I had been hit and more so because the driver in Car 1 said that to me.

Since when was english a requirement for turning on a
FREAKIN TURN SIGNAL!!!!!!! LEFT AND RIGHT - INTERNATIONALLY KNOWN RIGHT !!!

I didnt report it to my insurance and am having a friend repair the damages. He is charging me $ 400.00.

May you keep driving safely in your KKKKKIA!

Had a similar accident in my last car ('96 Camry). The repair bill was $550.
