Default One cause of shimmy

Had to do 75 to 0 in a very short distance last night because of a huge deer that bolted into the road. Only the right front wheel fully locked up for the full adventure. Shredded the tread off the blizzak. Certainly had a shimmy the rest of the ride home Since I got a cheap 2nd pair of factory alloys, the stock summer tires are back on now. Looks like I'll be buying one new blizzak next year

Its better you have to replace a tire than repair the front end of your car.

I wasn't real worried about the front end of the car, more concerned with the deer coming through the windshield. The deer here are pretty good sized. I would have put it down into the ditch if I had to.
