Exclamation noisy diesel!!!

i just picked up my new kia cerato 1.6 crdi on friday {great car] but there seems to be a weird noise from engine when accelarating especially when turbo spools up . anybody out there with diesels got same problem .cheers

I have the 1.5crdi Cerato, describe your weird noise, I have a noise on mine that has been there from day one but is only there when pressing hard on the accelerator.

its like a small rattling noise when turbo's working .and goes away when you take foot off pedal .

Yes thats it, it is part of the normal engine noises, its there in mine also and mine is a year old.

thanks irish i didnt want to go dealer and make fool of myself ha ha .By the way ive had a few diesels now /golf tdi /punto jtd /but the 1.6 crdi engine is by far the most impressive ive driven 'just really pleased with my choice .thanks kev.

Yeah I am pleased with mine too, it gets better the more miles you put up on it and I agree they are great engines also, Paul.
