Headlight help needed - 04 Spectra

Any tips for how to replace the drivers side headlight bulb? I cant seem to find the place to do it...I hate to sound like a dumb girl, but I'm a dumb girl! I finally got the taillights replaced a few months ago when they went out, but cant figure out where to get to the fog light and headlight on the drivers side to replace the bulbs. Under the hood there is a large block that doesnt allow access...but the passengers side seems different. Im so confused!

The Spectra design did not make light bulb replacement easy or straight forward.

For the left headlight, use a philips screwdriver to remove the black plastic cover in front of the battery. The screws come out first, then use a flat screwdriver to pry out the rest of the fastener. If you still need more room, remove the battery. Both of those are pretty easy.

Fog lamp bulbs are changed from under the car. The wheel well splash guard extends to the front of the bottom of the bumper cover. After the car is safely and securely raised, remove the front 2 or 3 or 4 fasteners at the front of the splash guard. Then just bend it down out of the way and change the bulb.

If these directions don't sound obvious, just start into it. It'll work out fine.
