Default Headlight, turn-signal, and other stock light modifications

Has anyone attempted any light modifications? I tried disassembling my stock headlight to remove the amber lens for a cleaner look, but couldn't get to it. I'd like to clean up the front end of the car with this, so any help is much appreciated!

In the mean time I'm going to check out some aftermarket retailers for their options.

hey, depending the year of your car i might be able to help ya out on that one. i have an '06 spec5 and i painted all of that extra chrome around inside the headlight, and in the process i came about how to remove the reflector. the trick is that the whole headlight comes as a one piece assembly. the solution i found was to bake it in the oven. that loosens the glue so taht it can be pulled apart and that you can pop out the reflector. and then re-assembly is simply the reverse process. i can hit you up with more details if you want them.

Check this link out. Its a how to on clearing your corners. When I did it, it was done on my 04 Optima I once had but if you read it you will get the general idea on how to do it and how long to bake them for. In the spring Im going to be doing this to my Spectra.

I guess the bake method it is, then! I was hoping to avoid the oven use, but oh well! It's effective, and I just happen to have a box cutter knife and some clear silicone!
