Default Stubborn key, HELP!

I own a 2004 Kia Spectra and this morning when I tried to start it up I was able to get the key into the ignition, but it wouldn't turn at all. It works fine on opening the doors and the trunk, and I'd driven/parked it less that 10 hours before. I got it as a used car and and key it came with was a copy, but it'd been working fine for a year. Can anyone suggest what I should try or do? I'm desperate!

how's the battery? if you have a multimeter/battery tester, check the voltage. if you have a charger, stick it on the charger for an hour and try again. let us know how it goes...

Default It worked!

Thanks for the help guys, I kept on looking around online for similar problems and tried pulling out on the wheel while turning it left and right. The wheel locks into place while parked and wont go more than an inch either way but for some reason that worked and the key will turn freely.

Thanks again

I've had the same problem on my Spectra and Toyota Camry. Try turning the steering wheel a little before turning the key.
