emission and drive cycle issue

i have 2001 spectra 1.8L 4 cyl manual, a few days ago i changed my battery, which caused the ecu to reset, now i got rejected on emission test because the ODBII is not ready, they told me to come bakc after i complete a "drive cycle", so how can i complete this cycle

You need to drive at least 30 miles or until the check engine light goes out. Tried to reset the code at autozone with there scanner but that only took the check engine light off and emissions said there was no drive test recorded and that I would need to drive until it did register.

Same issue today with my 02 Spectra. I had the Battery changed in December now I get a drive cycle error on emmisions. I drive the car daily. 100+ Miles. I'd estimate that since the battery change I done nearly 2500 miles. KIA said just drive as well as the Emissions people.
How far and how long?
