This forum is rapidly becoming pointless.

I've been a member of this forum since 2007, i to was fed up being slagged off by certain members, so i have not bothered to write any posts, may be after people read this thread and understand how people feel, the offenders will think again, just because they might have written 1,000 posts or more, it doesn't give them the rights to be rude to other members

If someone's rude to you in a trolling type of way, or if it's your average keyboard warrior who doesn't know squack-all about mechanics but claims you're out of your mind then just report the post, all mods of that particular forum and supermods/admin will be emailed with the report, then they'll respond accordingly. Don't let people who are just deflecting their own problems or trolling spoil your time on what is a very good forum. There are very rarely any issues in the Rio forum to be honest.

I agree, with regret, that this forum has indeed become pointless. It is dominated by a few people who are rude and unhelpful, and I think we know who they are. Some members have been genuinely helpful (thanks Daz Jones) and some spout such uninformed, self-opinionated rubbish (ChesterBen, Deeps) that the forum is unwelcoming and useless.
I am sorry to say so but it is incontestibly true.
To the few members who have helped me over the years, thank you. i will take no further part in this forum, partly because the usual suspects mouth off in a semi-literate way with half truths, claiming to be experts, but mostly because I really cannot be bothered any more.
Kind regards to those who have genuinely helped me over the years, no comment to those who have insulted me. Feel free to respond to this post but I won't be reading it.

I as a moderator I get frustrated on kia-forums also..There are a lot of low IQ posters doing dumb things. There are truely good members that honestly try to help others here also...
You just have to weed through the garbage...
Our world is "dumbing down" that's why they have to say "CAUTION HOT coffee can burn you" or "DON'T use this appliance in the rain"..
Well I hope your "New Year" is a better one than last year.e..
