Default Auto Light Sensor Problem proceed 2009

Hi all,

I have a problem with the auto lights. My auto lights are always on. (the auto lights are a feature that, when there is low light, the sensors send a signal and the lights automatically switch on).

Now my problem is that as soon as this afternoon, I headed through the tunnels, the sensors switched the lights on, however when I came out of the tunnels, the lights kept on. I tried turning the auto-lights to manual off mode, then turning it back to auto... the lights switch on again. I also tried switching off the engine and starting again but still with the same problem, and when I tried to look in the owner's manual, to check the fuse ( I don't know if there is a separate fuse for the sensor, however, I believe that there should be one..?? no?) box under bonnet and also the underside of the driver compartment, but the pictures do not mention any light sensors or auto light adjust.. or anything of that kind..

Could anyone help please? btw mine is a late 2009 diesel proceed...

Cheers to anyone who can help out!!
