Default Cheapest 1st year service cost - UK only

Can someone tell me where I can get the cheapest 1st year service done from an official Kia dealer in the UK? I'm looking to get it so I can get my local dealer to match it, who by the way have quoted £185. I'm pretty certain I've seen it for £150 and below but just need the garage name.

For a Cee'd diesel.

Answered my own question I think. Found one in Rochdale for £135 but that was for members of a loyalty scheme they run, it was £150 for non-members. Just phoned up my local saying I found a price on internet for £135 for 1st service, they matched it straight away without any fuss. Kinda wish I had just tried blagging it down to £120 or something.

That sounds good to me, I'm done with the dealers, my mate orders a service pack and does it at his, removing the labour costs and replacing with a few beers reduces it somewhat lol

Got mine free of charge. Part of the initial purchase package.

You have to think about these things in advance.

For any UK users in the South you can get a service done at a KIA dealer in France for 100euro or less so the savings cover a cheap ferry or tunnel crossing and you get a day out in France.

Also remember by law you do not have to go to a KIA dealer.

Agreed, however most dealers say to honour the warranty, you need to use genuine kia parts, so sometimes its more fuss to get it done independantly. especailly if something needs replacing under warranty, and its either not a kia part, or directly related to a non kia part (more for repairs and MOT) as for standard service, if they need to replace anything like cabin filter, if you buy a kia approved and get them to fit it, then it works even better!

Being rather awkward, what's to stop a Kia dealer claiming that the parts used by the non-Kia servicing garage aren't duff, or even fake? I think I saw a post on this forum from somebody saying fake parts were not unheard of.
If your Kia dealer said that where would you stand when you try to make a warranty claim? Wouldn't it be cheaper to use your Kia dealer and be sure that a warranty claim will be honoured?
The safest way is to get your Kia dealer to do all the servicing. Of course, that's the way they want it so they can make money out of you.
Just food for thought...

In my country you are obligated to do all the service by Kia dealer if you want to keep the warranty.
