Default Ceed 1.6 CRDI Fuel Economy

I am just about to leave southern Spain on my return journey to the UK.
The journey down (1430 miles) gave me a trip overall MPG of 55.2, which for an engine that had only done just over 1000 miles when I left the UK wasn't bad.
When I get back I will do a manual reckoning from full tank to full tank to see how accurate the trip actually is, any guesses as to how far out it will be?

I have just done a 620 Mile round trip and averaged 50.5. That is in my 2.0 Pro Ceed Sport. Tbh I was not holding back and did a decent speed all the way. 7k miles on my car. I am very very impressed with the MPG out of the car, I have found I get more MPG if I use shell fuel.

I've calculated several times and I can say that ceed's trip computer is highly accurate.

Give the man a coconut !

Got back from Spain last night, trip showed 56.8 MPG, full tank to full tank worked out at 56.09 MPG
Drove using cruise control @ 100 KPH on continent and @ 60 MPH in UK, wasn't in any hurry.

Wahoo!
I have tried to get better in mine but it just doesn't play ball. The mere sight of an uphill and it's gone. The mpg that is! No matter what way it's driven it does in the region of 50 mpg. Weird.

I agree to this. I have driven 34 000km with my car and have come to the same conclusion. Average 5,6 l/100km.

I don't know if it makes a difference, but I run my tyres on max suggested pressure, regardless of load.
