Default Have I got a stiffy?

Due to the roads round here my (black) Pro` is hard to keep clean so I risked to local car wash......

......Prior to driving in I tried to remove the Aerial but it felt like any more force and I`d rip the base off the roof!!!!!

Has anyone else tried or managed to remove their`s.

That looks neat...was it a struggle to remove it?
Can you remember if it was a left or right hand thread.....as I said I really don`t want to force it.

When I first got my car in Feb, I tried to remove arial.... It wouldn't budge, so I took it EMG in Kings Lynn and they ended up having to replace the whole base and arial!!!!!!

I removed mine by hand... no major struggle.

Just had a go at removing the aerial from my SW. Standard thread, anti clockwise to remove, came off no bother. The thought of using a car wash that you drive through makes me cringe.

I know it`s frowned upon but I really don`t have the time to keep it `Hand` clean all the time. I`ve been through my polish & wax phase and forum picture posting....although I love the Kia it`s my car now...a workhorse for the family, I do 100 miles a day to & from work plus weekend driving (& on Norfolk non kerbed mucky roads) it`s impossible to keep in tip top condition.
