Where is Mute button for audio sistem?

I've got my car equipped with cruise control which is placed on the right side of the wheel. On the left side is audio control without "mute" button. Is there any way to mute the audio system in control panel, maybe?

There's no such option as mute. To obtain quick result you have to push volume button on a panel.

I have it on the steering wheel. The big one that says "Mute"

Obviously the cars are not all fitted with the same buttons.

The manual describe two type of wheel controls, depends if car is equipped with or without cruise control. One of them (Type A, without cruise control), has audio controls on the both sides of the wheel, with mute button on the right side. Type B (my case) has audio control on the left side (without mute button) and on the right side only C/C controls.

Pressing the power button on/off seems to be the only solution for me.
