That's hot in Sweden? Yesterday we had 39 degrees in shade in Bucharest. Air temperature was ~ 45 degrees. A/C on was blowing hot air when I started the car.

shome mishtake shirley! Climate should only need setting to a single temp thats comfy for you, the 'control' does the rest, i.e. keep it at that temp. If you had to mess about setting it to Lo first then there would be no point in an 'auto' button. Agreed it would seem to be a waste of money in the cee'd but as the only car that had all I wanted just so happened to have climate then I don't feel it unreasonable to expect that aircon to work properly.

hot air in and around the vents & tubes? But then a decent climate system would not pass air until the temp was such that it would cool the vehicle (in your case).
(I was in Bucharest, probably before you were born - 1982)
Here in Belgrade, temeratures these days are about 35 C. And my ACC works pretty well. I am able to set temerature to 25 and to feel comfortable. No need to set it to Lo, or use manual commands...

Hey dude, could you please use English language, I can hardly understand that!
25 sounds hot - aren't you comfortable at 21 (which is what I usually have set)?
If outside temperature is bellow 30, I am OK with 21-22. But on hot days, I don't like having too big difference between outside and inside temperature so I usually set it to 25. Otherwise, I would feel too cold and it is not healthy anyway to have temperature shock whenever I get out of car!
As for the aircon, then yes, it is weak and the subject of many threads on here. If you set it it LO then all should be well, in fact the Missus was complaining of nipple chaffing this afternoon
Bunk man ... I have a recipe for yer wife's nips. If she needs them un-chaffing, I am willing to supply lub-rant. LOL
