Default How to stop your speedometer.

Yesterday I hooked up my Parrot MK6100. This wasn't easy. Pulling off the crash pad is a tricky part, but I now did it twice so I can do it now in less than 15 minutes

The problem I has that I hooked up the Mute cable from the Parrot in to the wrong Mute In. It all worked nice until I start driving. Something was tinkering behind the dash and the radio start to stutter. It followed the speed that I was driving. When I activated my Parrot it stopped tinkering but as well the whole speedometer stopped working including the Board Computer and the total odometer.

So if you hook up a pulse, same as the mute pulse from the parrot to the Mute 1 input you won’t make any miles on your car anymore!

Ok, It's not very useful, and a bit dangers as you don't know how fast you drive and the speed depending power steering goes on super sensitive.
