Well I've not been in the cee'd since reading it and am now worried for when I do.. Saying that I don't really care as it's under warranty - I've never, ever had any dash covering peel off in any car I've had / owned.

Can't see anything like bubbles or peeling off on dashboard or doors so far. I was a bit worried after reading this thread so I inspected interior thoroughly.

As I said, it's barely noticeable and I didn't even think it was worth a mention if it hadn't been for the original poster

for everybody who have the problem with the bubbles on dashboard

this problem is well known in KIA factory, if you have this problem visit you local reseller and request repair under warranty condition

bubbles apears after hot temperature (on dashboard from sunlight) during summer times, commonly happends in southen countries of EU

Whats likely to be done for a fix? Isn't it either going to involve removal of the whole dash or a possibly ugly repair with non-matching Fablon (tm)?

Or maybe some of those little rubber patches used for repairing inner tubes on bikes.

I wouldn't worry about it Tim, they see more sun in Greece in a week as we do in a year

They'd need to make sure all the chalk dust was removed otherwise it would look terrible!

But like you say about the sun in Greece - makes you wonder how a manufacturer wouldn't take that into account, after all it's not like they don't sell cars to hot countries FFS!

Have we hadany negative comments about the CC from any southern European countires? It was 25+ here yesterday and the problem with the CC was starting to irritate me, luckily my car is going in for it's 1st service (12.5k miles) so I'll have a list of things needing doing.

We had temperatures higher than 35C last weeks but I still haven't noticed issues with CC.
