I asked how much the first service would be at an Independent KIA service agent (Kia trained technicians) about 3 miles from my home. £80 !! (That's oil/filter,Checks, labour +VAT)
Sounds like the Norfolk carrott crunchers are at it!

Just called my dealer to check price. Quoted £157.58 all in.

Better than mine - £180 (I seem to remember) - there is a huge variation, even among Kia dealers. Mines is also a Saab dealership so I expect the hourly rates are somewhere between Kia (sole dealer) and Saab.

£153 for my 12,500 service at Kia dealer, Swindon.

Also got cruise control pad on steering wheel replaced - free - as the button's became faulty at around 9000 miles.

And they kept it in another day to replace the off side rear wheel bearing! No idea why that had gone wrong.

No quibbles - nice clean and polish and interior vac too. Can't complain.
