What are you asking that is fixed? If you mean the original topic of how to skip albums then I've not heard anything back from Kia on this yet.

Soggydog, are you saying you have "full" iPod album skipping now with your change of head unit?

I've admitted defeat already and am just using an Aux cable.

Set up a playlist before I set off, plug it in and away I go.

Not a major hassle, but have to turn the volume up to 20 to hear it clearly!

I use an iPod cable for iPod, and also the USB for a Sony Ericcson Walkman phone that I have. Only thing I don't have is fast forwarding through MP3 tracks on the walkman (but I don't know if that's possible anyway?!)

For those with Ipods that cannot get it to work properly because of using the normal white usb cable, i had the same problem, and as some of you were saying, an option would be formatting it to be a normal hard drive (loosing Ipod functionality)
Well, you can keep it, if you use a software (freeware) called rockbox.
It allows you to copy your music "the old fashion way", as if it were a normal usb drive, and then it will read the data from the internal disk (replaces the Ipod front end)
So you can keep both things, it being a mp4 player, and a hard drive (like de branding it)

So you're saying you lose the iPod front end on the iPod itself but retain the actual iPod functionality (i.e. you can use it as a mobile MP3 player!) and with the added bonus that the Kia sees it as a usb device and plays it accordingly - working like it does with a Sandisk Cruzer (say!)

Yes. That is exactly it.
Well, if everything goes well. (Sometimes the radio still doesn't detect the ipod, "usb empty", like with a usb pen, but is worth the try)
