Default size of the active headrests

hi all

having orderes my ceed sw, i wanted to start ordering the dvd system that i want (pioneer d3bt), and 2 extra screens to be mounted on the headrest.

since the ceed has active headrest, i can´t replace the headrest with headrest with build in screens, so the only option i have is to mount 2 screens on the back of the headrest.

but in order to do this, i need the measurements of the active headrest, on the back, so i can see what size of screen i shall order.

is there any of you great members of this forum, that could take the time, to measure the back of the active headrest, and supply me with the measurements?

sincerely
Carsten Larsen

Hi,

The 'plastic' rear of the headrests are 7" along the bottom, 5.5" along the top and are 6" high.

These are the 'maximum' measurements.

Hope this helps

No problem, if you need any more info, just shout...

Please be aware, my car is the Cee'd CRDi 1.6 (not SW) but I think they are the same headrests

To make sure, just nip along to your dealership, I am sure they won't mind you measuring the headrest on their SW

Assuming they have one....

Default Active Headrests

Hi Blackbox100
Just measured in my SW and can confirm Alarmin`s measurements are the same in SW as you would expect.

anyone found any nice solutions for adding 1 or 2 screens, maybe a roofmounted unit, and perhaps has some pictures of the system installed in their ceed?

sincerely Carsten
