Default CeeŽd xenon conversion

Hi all,

we just orderd a CeeŽd 1.6CRD SW Comfort, I was surprised that Xenon wasnŽt available as an option.

Has anyone converted a ceeŽd yet? I dont want to set of any warning lights or such.

Im used to having 3 X 100W driving lights on our Subaru, but I dont want to put them on the Kia. So a Xenon conversion is needed i guess. Any pointers?

Would an aftermarket fitment not have to conform to the Euro regs and have to have suspension levelling and washers fitted?

It's definitely one of my 1st upgrades as soon as I get my Pro_Ceed.
Followed by some Eibach or H&R springs (or not, the pro_cee'd is lower than the 5door)!

I think you are reffering to the low beam lights.

Automotive lighting - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

What is the power of the kit you installed, and what color temperature? (I guess 35W and 6000K) You had them installed at the dealer? It affects the electrical system waranty?

Hi what is the colour temperature? is it 6000K please? And where do you get them from? I've been looking at ebay... I found quite cheap, at around Ł25 or Ł30 including shipping - but from China or Hong Kong. Are these reliable or not? I don't really want to spend much, but I don't want to get a pair that ruins my car's electrical system.
