I spoted a XR

Hey guys. I'm from Portugal, from Porto up north.

On May... I was doing some vacation on Algarve, and I was passing by a Kia dealer.
On the front there was a black car. I'm a big fan of cars... and I was goigng with a friend of mine:
"What car is that?"
...
"WTF... a Kia? This car looks awesome! Black... Kia.. Cee'd. What the hell is a Cee'd? Ok... XR logo on the front, I have no idea what this is, but man Kia... this is probably lousy!"
Those where my word/thoughts. Got back home a couple of days latter... got online to see some info about the car.

I couldn't find any information about the XR version... and still today in august you still can't. If I had this perception at that time, I would of taken some pictures!
This is my 1st contact with the Cee'd, and of course, after reading some reviews, I totally changed my mind about the Cee'd.

But yeah.. I've seen an XR!

The car that i test drove at the dealer had the complete optional bodykit mounted. That included an XR logo on the front. The car itself was just the standard version.

Are there any risk that this "body kit" will be/are available as an aftermarket kit that bolts on a standard ceed -07 ?

That is exactly how it works. It mounts on the standard car, making it look like in the picture. In Denmark it priced at €2400: KIA MOTORS - DANMARK: THE POWER TO SURPRISE

Maybe I should pop down and visit our neibour Denmark and get me one of these I have not seen any accessories available in Sweden except the standard dull stuff
