Cee'd Weight?

Hi guys,
Thinking about buying a Cee'd next year.
Right now only the 5door an the SW are available, from the beggining of next year the Pro_Cee'd will also be available.
That's the one I'm aiming for!

I did a test drive of the 5door 1400cc and 1600ccCRDi. 1400 was a bit disapointing the 1600 was pretty good!

But my question is... how much does a Cee'd (5door) weigh?
I've read the 3door will be lighter (faster?

)... but i've also heard that the 5door is about 1710Kg!!! That's ALOT!!!

Before this post is 'moved' go to the UK Kia web site at home - KIA Motors there you can select Cee'd and all the 'tech spec'

On that website it says 1710Kg!!
That's pretty damn heavy!
How can that be?
A Golf/Focus/most common segment C cars weigh about 1300Kg!

PetroL 1.4 Petrol Kerb weight 1253 kg, Gross Vehicle Weights 1710kg
PetroL 1.6 Diesel Kerb weight 1449 kg , Gross Vehicle Weights 1950kg

Cee'd weigh is between 1263kg and 1458kg depend of diferent motor
