Default Subwoofer

Hello,

Has anyone thought about installing a subwoofer in to Kia Cee’d? How painful it would be to install subwoofer – is it possible at all with standart Ceed’s audio?

Thanx in advance.

Here in the UK I think you'll find that they can only be fitted to Vauxhall Corsa's, Citroen Saxo's and the odd Renault Clio.

As I understand it, it's a device which allows you to impose your dubious musical tastes on the the rest of us whilst sitting at traffic lights. If this is the case, I'd advise you to save your money and drive around with the windows open and the volume cranked right up

You'd be surprised how loud it goes in the cee'd

Happy Christmas.

Here are two sites that should help. Car Subwoofers
Global Service Way
I have one fitted to my Nissan (it came with it already fitted). You don't have to have it loud to enjoy the benefits.

BTW... how would you classify the Cee'd/Pro_Cee'd original audio?
I've read some reviews saying it's pretty nice!

Built down to a price. It works (apart from proper iPod integration, despite what the advertising says!)

I have a C'eed SW and find the sound quality to be above average. It's as good as any standard fit stereo I have heard and also boasts the usb connector which works very well with memory sticks and mp3 players, apart from ipods.

I ask at one Slovenian dealer for subwoofer instalation. Standard connection between radio and subwoofer amplifier is via coax cables and chinch connectors. But there are no chinch connectors on CEED radio. You need adapter with connectors from original radio to subwoofer amplifier. Dealer thold me that can i buy this adapter in KIA shop.
I go for installation in next week if i found enough time.
