Default fuel pump 2003 Kia Sedona

I have a 2003 Kia Sedona and just quit running. I think its the fuel pump for a couple reasons. For one when i turn the key I cant hear it come on at all. also i took off the fuel line going into the fuel rail and when i turn key nothing comes out at all.
I read that this van has no fuel pressure check that I have to take to Kia shop and they have a special part to check it. But its not getting fuel as I can see.

I just wanted a second opinion about it. Also I have read some posts about being able to replace this pump from the floor in the back seat. I dont see anywhere there to do that unless its under the carpet.

It is a V6 3500 DOHC. There is 2 fuel pumps for this van. I dont know which one I need. One comes with the low fuel sensor and one comes without. Does it matter? is that just something that will make the low fuel light not work or is it a part that wont match unless I get the right one? Any help would be Awesome. I am about to remove tank so if I can take this out another way please inform. Thank You in advance

UPDATE: I kept looking around for a panel and found behind drivers seat. i removed it and tapped the pump with a screwdriver a bunch and it is running now. Should I replace the pump in this case or is the filter just prob clogged up a bit. I mean its still running now.

Chances are your pump is going up......also ,check the connector and make sure it hasn't come loose or has corrosion on the terminals. There are 2 different pumps available. 1 comes with a new sending unit for the guage and the other one doesnt.
If you believe your sending unit if fine, you can swap it from the old pump to the new one.

ok connectors look good. I shut it off and now I cant get it to start again even with tapping on it. I ordered a pump for 299.87. It will be here Saturday. I just didnt want to spend that much and that not be it. I mean..... When you turn the key should I hear the pump come on? Cause I cant hear it. I just was hoping it was not some electrical thing. And I gotta say I think EVERY Vehicle should have a fuel pump access like that!!!!!

That is nice to have, especially because most pumps go up right after you fill up the tank. That should solve your problem. Let me know how it turns out.......
