Default 2003 Sedona Cruise control Problem

Does anyone know why the cruise control would disengage after it been on a while. No braking or big grade changes. According to the wife it just disengages after it's been on an hour and drops the speed like a rock. It appears to come and go and I would like to know what I can do to fix it.
Thanks

You might start off by checking the basics. Check your electrical connection at the cruise control module, check the cruise control cable at the module and throttle body.
