Default My new (to me) Sedona...first opinions and a problem

After losing my job and the Vauxhall Zafira that went with it, I had to sort myself out with a cheapish mpv quickly. I had always liked the look of Sedonas, but was not allowed to choose one as a company car due to the high depreciation (they said)...
Anyway, a few days ago I picked up my 1999 2.9 exec, and my initial thoughts are that I love it. Its roomy, comfortable, and pretty good on fuel too. I have no regrets, for the money, it was an absolute bargain.
The only problem I have had has been completely my fault: Tonight, in the snow, rather than wiping the snow off the windscreen by hand, I turned the wipers on expecting them to clear it. They didnt. They stopped halfway up the windscreen, and, whatever I did has also taken out the front windows and the front air blower !!! as I said though, my fault, not Kia's.
Has anyone else made this mistake? And, if so, how do I fix it please? I have trawled through all previous posts, I don't think its the linkage, because of the way it has "taken out" the front power windows and the front blower. I think its a fuse? But I have checked the ones under the hood, they are all ok.
Best regards
MARTIN

I bought a 2001 2.9 TDi last August, it's been good upto this week when my EGR went "TITS UP". I'm getting it fixed at the KIA garage tomorrow.

Watch out for the heater pipes at the back of the car that go into the rear heater, they're prone to severe corrosion, if you lose water here you'll overheat in a heartbeat and you won't realize where the water went.

Best of luck with the car mate. I see you replied to my sons (quicks100) post about removing the seats. It's really frustrating.

For the benefit of anyone reading this for the 1st time.

We both seem to have a Sedona with swivel captains seats and a bench (not split) rear seat. We have poked around but there is no sign of any straps to pull to lift the seats out.

On the captains seats the are levers front and rear to allow the seats to move back and forwards but that is about it.
On the rear seat there are metal levers front and rear to slide the seat back and forward. A plastic lever either side to recline the seat back. A metal lever at the back to fold the seat upwards.

There are no visible straps anywhere on the seats.
