Angry Sedona won't start

Please help! Our 2006 Sedona EX won't start after being driven short distances. It is a random event. All the electrics work but engine won't turn over. It's dead. Then after the car sits for an hour or two it will start again. Any ideas?

Default Sedona Won't Start

Please help! Our 2006 Sedona EX won't start after short drives. All the elctrics work except the engine won't turn over. It's dead. It is a random happening. After the car sits for an hour or two it will finally start. The dealer can't repliate the problem, so we're bringing it home from the shop today...with the problem unresolved. Any ideas?

sounds like the silonode on the starter is cracked. I would take a look at that first.

(Psst... this is the Sorento forum)

My girlfriend's car had this problem recently - turns out she had a loose grounding line in the engine compartment or something. I'll ask her what it was.

I hope you find a solution, this kind of problem definitely sucks.
