Default Heat temp control for rear?

I've had my 04' Sedona for about a year and a half and in that time I don't think I've ever been able to adjust the temp of the heat in the rear. I just have to cut the fan off or turn rear heat off with the switch. Is it supposed to be adjustable? Does it have it's own mixing valve? If so is it controlled by the temp selector for the front? The front heat is fully adjustable.

Thanks for your responses.

There is no adjustment for the heat in the rear, it is either on or not. You do as you have said, to just keep turning it on and off when it gets too hot.

I have a 2001 Sedona from new i had the same problem the fan is still hot in summer
I asked my local Kia and the looked into it and came back with this reply
We can fit an inline valve to stop the hot water from going to the heater for the summer so it blows cold then open it for winter to blow hot
the price for this valve fitted was £249 plus vat
I told them where to go put there valve and just open a window

It wouldn't be too hard to put a valve on the rubber hose section, but I would like to be able to control it from inside.

i had a rummage around the heater of my 02 when we had it and if you look at the heater in the rear right side panel there is a lever held in place with a screw if you undo this screw you can then move the lever over an then re secure it the problem being i never actually got round to trying it as i couldnt see any advantgae but it may be possible to rig something up to make it adjustable possibly using something like r/c model servos mind you since i didnt actually try the heater with the lever moved it might not control the heat
