Default Filling Up Sedona EX Gasoline

I have only owned this thing for a couple of weeks but everytime I go to fill it up, the pump always stops early. I can always get 4+ gallons in this thing after it stops and I wait a few minutes. I have never seen this before and was wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem and what I can do to stop it!

Hi

When filling my Sedona I put the pump nozzle in virtually upside down at the 10 o clock position and have no problems. Also had this with a Chrysler Grand Voyager, well lets face it the Sedona is a Voyager clone. Hope this works for you.

Regards John.

I filled my 99 Sportage up for the first time a couple of days ago. It clicked off and I drove away, only to discover the gauge said 3/4 full. I went back, inserted the nossel all the way, and pulled it out an inch or so. It took 5 more gallons and now my gauge says that it is full.

Hardly! Never had one problem with Acura and I get 25mpg city and 31 mpg hwy with her too! My Piece Of $hit KIA has never given me more then 15.5 mpg city or hwy and I must have put over $2000 in it just for another problem to come up. My biggest upset with my KIA is if I need parts for it I have to go to the dealer, after market parts do not fit anything on it. What A Piece Of $hit!

Oh pardon me, I thought an Acura cost a lot more than a Kia. You should go out and sell your Kia and buy another Acura right away. Perhaps you could find someone who would like to trade even since apparently they both cost the same.

You are right, the Acura did cost more. Alot more then the KIA but I guess it goes to show you get what you paid for.
Buy an Acura- Have very minimal problems
Buy a KIA- Have very many and majoy problems.
I Finally replaced my last part on the Sedona tonight and I already plan on selling it. I can't stand the idea of putting any more money in this thing! But hey, right now everything is working perfectly! Why don't you buy it real quick and save me the time of having to post it for sale. I will even sale it with a 1.5 mile warranty!
