New Here.. Looking for some answers

Hello, I just joined Forums. The reason is Ive had my Kia Sedona for 4 years.. recently have ran into some problems with the alternator and tension pully. I have no choice but to put my van in a shop.. (not a mechanic) but I have some questions about this pully!! First of all, can a replacement tension pully only be ordered from a dealer?? If not, where can I order it? I just dont want to be taken advantage of by this shop.. often happens when your not too familiar with mechanical things... Any Help Please!!! Thanks

There are 2 pullies listed costing between $16 and $18 dollars just quickly looking at rockauto.com. Definately available here.. just a standard pulley.

If the tensioner itself is busted, that's probably a dealer only item. I don't see one listed there at rockauto.
